Important Dates for Winter Term

  • January 1, 2015
    Term officially begins. Since this date does not necessarily conicide with the beginning of classes, students should contact their program for the specific date when courses start.
  • January 9, 2015
    Due date for winter term tuition (first installment).
  • January 16, 2015
    Grade submission deadline for fall term grades for continuing students.
  • January 29, 2015
    Last day to provide proof of Permanent Resident status to have winter term tuition fees reduced to the domestic rate.
  • January 30, 2015
    Last day to enrol in winter term graduate courses, declare an audit for a course or drop a graduate course without it appearing on the transcript.
  • February 13, 2015
    Due date for second installment of winter term tuition for those paying in 2 installments.
  • February 27, 2015
    February In-Absentia Convocation
  • February 27, 2015
    Last day to withdraw from a graduate course beginning in the term without academic penalty.
  • March 19, 2015
    Final date for doctoral candidates to submit the thesis for examination to SGPS to complete the degree within the winter term or be eligible for Thesis Defense Only status for the summer term.
  • March 26, 2015
    Recommended deadline to submit to SGPS requests for changes to summer term registration status, and to apply to graduate for the Spring Convocation.
  • April 2, 2015
    Final date for masters candidates to submit the thesis for examination to SGPS to complete the degree within the winter term or be eligible for Thesis Defense Only status for the summer term.
  • April 30, 2015
    Grade submission deadline for students wishing to graduate at the Spring Convocation.
    Deadline for final submission of the thesis to complete the degree within the winter term and to graduate at the Spring Convocation.
    Term ends.
