Important Dates for Winter Term

  • January 1, 2013
    Term officially begins.
  • January 8, 2013
    Due date for term tuition (first installment).
  • January 15, 2013
    Grade submission deadline for Fall term grades for continuing students.
  • January 30, 2013
    Last day to provide proof of Permanent Residency to reduce tuition fees to the domestic rate.
  • January 31, 2013
    Last day to enrol in graduate courses, declare an audit for a course or drop a graduate course without it appearing on the transcript.
  • February 22, 2013
    February In-Absentia Convocation.
  • February 12, 2013
    Due date for second installment of term tuition for those paying in 2 installments.
  • February 28, 2013
    Last day to withdraw from a graduate course beginning in the term without academic penalty.
  • March 19, 2013
    Final date for doctoral candidates to submit the thesis for examination to SGPS to complete the degree within the winter term or be eligible for Thesis Defense Only status for the summer 2013 term.
  • March 26, 2013
    Recommended deadline to submit to SGPS requests for changes to summer term registration status, and to apply to graduate for Spring Convocation.
  • April 2, 2013
    Final date for masters candidates to submit the thesis for examination to SGPS to complete the degree within the winter term or be eligible for Thesis Defense Only status for the summer 2013 term.
  • April 23, 2013
    Deadline for final thesis examination to complete the degree within the winter term.
  • April 30, 2013
    Grade and thesis submission deadline for students wishing to graduate at Spring Convocation.
  • April 30, 2013
    Term ends.
